Yin Yoga Foundations Module (2 days)

Stefanie Arend will teach her Yin Yoga Basic Module Training on November 28 & 29, Saturday from 09:30 - 17:00 & Sunday from 08:30 - 16:00. Stefanie is a yoga teacher and author of several yoga books and DVDs. Her first book "Yin Yoga - The gentle path to the inner center" was voted "Best Yoga Book of the Year" by "Yogaguide" in 2011. The positive response to her first work has touched her deeply and has given an important sign that she is on the right path. Stefanie's trainings are certified through the Yoga Allianz.

In this module you will get important basic knowledge for practising and teaching Yin Yoga. Even if you have already completed your yoga training, you will certainly learn a lot of new things here, because the principles of yin practice are completely different from those of yang practice.

It is not mandatory to have a completed yoga training, but you should already practice yoga regularly if you want to participate in the yin yoga trainings. For the basic training your book "Yin Yoga - The gentle way to the inner center" as well as the DVD of the same name (alternatively, we would be happy to provide you with the new DVD "Yin Yoga - Relaxed to balance and health") serve as a basis, so that we can directly link to this basic knowledge and deepen the contents. The weekends are to be seen as an addition to a basic training or for personal further training and do not replace a completed yoga training, which usually takes several years.

1. Two extended Yin sequences practice
2. Yin Yoga and the individual anatomy of the body
3. Yin Yoga and pain development through fascial stretching
4. Use of aids in Yin Yoga and alternative positions in case of limitations
5. Sensible structure of sequences
6. Yin Yoga and Meridians
7. Room for open questions
